Consultation Community for APIDA Womxn MH professionals
Founder and Facilitator of Bay Area APIDA womxn mental health professionals in private practice consultation and support group (established in 2018):
Intentions of this consultation community: To build support, collaboration, and provide a community for SF bay area Asian Pacific Islander Desi American womxn-identified mental health professionals in private practice. This is first and foremost a “community”; having culturally-responsive consultations, referrals, and the email list are secondary though also important.
We are a group of 28+ members (including bilingual abilities such Cantonese, Japanese, Mandarin, Taiwanese). All members follow these guidelines. We meet on 2nd Fridays of even-number months (e.g., Feb, April, June, etc.), noon to 1:30 PST. Currently, we’re meeting online, occasionally with combination of in-person meetings as additional option. If you are interested in joining this consultation community, please contact me for details and fit.
Upcoming networking gathering at a restaurant for this consult group: Saturday, June 24, 2023, 11am-1pm, in Mountain View.
