Consultations Services for Mental Health professionals
With over 20 years of providing clinical consultations/supervision/mentorship, I very much enjoy sharing knowledge and different perspectives, and seeing others develop and grow into themselves. There is much need for mental health services in our society. The more culturally-inclusive, skilled therapists are available, the better we are able to improve our collective lives. My areas of focus for mental health professional consults include assisting professionals to:
- Increase clinical repertoire and confidence including being cultural responsive, particularly for those working with adult Asian American womxn struggling with intergenerational, intercultural issues;
- Examine and make critical decisions around ethical and clinical dilemmas;
- Increase embodied, centered, and balanced life for mental health professionals, particularly for women of color;
- Start a private practice (where and how to start, self-confidence and boundaries, identifying your niche, building your practice and attracting the type of clients that align with your passion, etc.)
“Wisdom,” “support,” guidance,” “wealth of knowledge”… These are sample terms that others have used to describe my mentorship, supervision, leadership, and consultation services.
