APIDA Womxn MH professionals in SF Bay
Consultation and support community, founded by Dr. Ellen J. Lin in 2018. Co-lead with Dr. Grace Chen:
Intentions of this consultation community: To build support, collaboration, and provide a community for SF bay area Asian Pacific Islander Desi American womxn-identified mental health professionals in private practice. This is first and foremost a “community”; having culturally-responsive consultations, referrals, and the email list are secondary though also important. To build and to sustain any community, it is helpful for everyone to make contributions towards the community. Contributions may include providing referrals, resources, and to show up with support and care for each other in the meetings/gatherings and/or via email.
We are a group of 30+ members (including bilingual abilities such as Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Taiwanese). All members agree to these guidelines. (Everyone is required to read these carefully and agree to these guidelines prior to joining this consultation community.)
We meet on:
2nd Fridays of even-number months (e.g., Feb, April, June, etc.),
Noon to 1:30 PST
There are no fees to join the community. We are mostly meeting online, occasionally with combination of in-person meetings as additional option. If you are interested in joining this supportive, casual yet professional consultation community, please contact either Dr. Lin or Dr. Chen.
